IO&E Clinical Specialist – Part‑Time – St. Louis, MO
Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated, clinical specialist to join our Interventional Oncology & Embolization (IO&E) team in St. Louis. As a part‑time clinical representative, you will provide case support for our Cryoablation product franchise in a defined geographic territory, working closely with physicians, staff, and the local sales team.
Responsibilities
Serve as a primary resource for clinical support in case coverage, troubleshooting and product usage; deliver customer training.
Attend customer sites and advise physicians on safe, effective use of Cryoablation products.
Provide supplemental training and in‑services during product launches and for high‑touch specialty products.
Assist in executing a proactive regional plan that includes clinical, sales and service support to improve market share and quality of service.
Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing feasible solutions.
Maintain consignment inventory tracking, conduct semi‑annual audits and manage expired product returns.
Ensure timely collection and reporting of all required medical documentation related to procedural device operation.
Support quality policy by incorporating quality into all work and maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.
This is a salaried, part‑time position with a target of less than 20 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare technical certification with work experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., travel to multiple accounts within a geography and carry medical device equipment in vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 2 + years of clinical work experience.
Experience in Computed Tomography (CT), Radiology or Interventional Radiology.
Foundational knowledge of medical imaging, especially within CT.
Problem‑solving ability and willingness to be coached and directed by teammates.
Salary and Compensation The annualized base salary range for this role is $45,000 to $55,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan. This is a salaried part‑time position targeting less than 20 hours per week.
