Telecom Design Engineer (Data Centers)
Jacobs is seeking a Telecom Design Engineer to work on building projects including security, fire alarm, voice, data, audio/visual, and other low voltage systems in the United States. Location: Anywhere in the United States (ideally near a Jacobs U.S. office). Base pay range
$85,000.00 $111,525.00 per year. Responsibilities Provide technical design of low voltage systems for building projects. Prepare engineering drawings and specifications. Conduct site visits and review technical documents. Coordinate with other disciplines and clients.
Qualifications
Technical or Associates Degree from an accredited institution. 4+ years of experience designing low voltage and communication systems for buildings. Knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards. Experience with Revit software. Self?motivation to coordinate with disciplines and clients.
Preferred
RCDD credential or working toward it. Electrical Engineering degree or related discipline.
