Safety as our number one priority pushes us to constantly learn about the ever‑changing needs in safety critical environments to deliver innovative solutions. Key Tasks
Designs, develops, and implements automated software deployments, network configurations, and telecom integrations for networking, computing, and our propriety communications equipment. Implements hardware and software monitoring, reporting, and upgrade paths. Establishes a management system design including conceptual, functional, and physical designs of complex mission critical systems implemented in high availability architectures. Provides systems engineering for software and hardware systems, subsystems, modules, and application tools. Monitors system performance and implements security measures, troubleshooting, maintenance, and system improvements. Creates and reviews technical documentation (e.g., design drawings, design reviews, system layouts, system configuration, deployment procedures/workflows) for internal and external customers. Takes ownership of Engineering related deliverables and their technical compliance required by the program. Interfaces with other company departments for total project success (e.g., program management, hardware & software development, test engineering, field engineering, system engineering, production). May participate in on‑site customer deployments, system integration, and customer testing activities. Key Qualifications
BS in Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience with IT systems and engineering. 5-9 years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer implementing automated deployments of integrated hardware and software solutions in the area of networking and communications. Demonstrates the ability to implement and apply best‑practice system engineering concepts and appropriate risk management to solutions. Able to learn, select, and integrate new technologies into system solutions. Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers. Candidates should meet the requirements for a Public Trust Clearance FAA Suitability determination. Our Values
