Quality Engineer – Mid-Level
Position: Mid-Level Quality Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK within Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS). Focus on supporting the E-3 AWACS Program Quality organization.
Education & Requirements Bachelor’s degree required in one of the following fields: Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Systems, Aviation Technology, Data Science, Environmental Science, Life Sciences, or related disciplines.
Position Responsibilities
Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
Provides quality interpretation of requirements.
Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements.
Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.
Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.
Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified process capability levels are achieved.
Works under general direction.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s or higher in one of the relevant fields of study listed.
2+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).
2+ years of experience in Data Analytics/Data Science.
Experience with AS9100 and/or a similar Quality Management System standard.
3+ years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation.
1+ year of experience presenting technical briefings to various audiences.
1+ year of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).
5+ years of experience in Data Analytics/Data Science.
2+ years of experience in a Leadership Role.
Travel & Shift Up to 10% travel. 1st shift. 100% onsite. Requires U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship and Secret Clearance).
Benefits & Compensation Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Pay range: USD $82,450 - $111,550. Applications accepted until Oct. 27, 2025.
