Territory Management
Consistent customer contact
Plan and execute sales initiatives
Prompt and friendly handling of customer issues
Selling
Full understanding of products and pricing schedules
Effective sales presentations
Achieve assigned company objectives and grow business
Identify and nurture new accounts
Merchandising
Use POS to enhance selling efforts
Merchandising basics: display, shelf position, cold boxes, counters, windows, consumer impact
Servicing
Follow steps during sales calls
Reliable inventory checks and communication to minimize order mistakes
Proper rotation of products on shelves, cold boxes, displays
Administration
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Timely handling of paperwork
Position Qualifications
BA/BS college degree or related industry experience
Prior route sales experience (highly preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Goal and results driven
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
Local candidates preferred (no relocation package)
Candidate must pass criminal background and MVR.
