Responsibilities

Responsible for leading the Workday Financials Customer Accounts and Revenue Management pillar

Resident expert in the Workday Financials product suite with an emphasis on Customer Accounts & Revenue Management. Share deep knowledge of customer contracts, billing schedules, revenue recognition schedules, and the end-to-end lifecycle from invoice to cash

Manage small projects, facilitate meetings, lead discovery sessions

As part of a larger team, manage the administration of the Workday system including system configuration, maintaining security, data audits and corrections, and introduction of new functionality.

Manage twice a year mandatory release.

Identify, recommend, and track opportunities for process and operational improvements. Analyze problems, formulate solutions and alternatives, and deliver solutions that achieve desired results in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

Design, develop, and support custom Advanced, Composite and Matrix Reports, Business Process Validation Rules, Calculated Fields and EIBs

Implement standards and best practices for supporting Financial Systems used by the Finance organization

Maintain a thorough understanding of the accounting system design, particularly related to data flow

Develop comprehensive documentation, including user stories, process flow diagrams, data mapping tables, test scenarios, and best practice guidelines

Minimum Requirements

5+ Years of experience implementing Workday Financials, preferably in a consulting role

Workday Customer Accounts and Revenue Management certification and a minimum of 3 successful implementations

Workday Advanced Reporting certification

A deep understanding of the Workday security and business process framework

Critical Skills

Invoice to Cash domain expertise

Experience with 3rd-party tax services

Customer Focused – personally demonstrate that both external and internal customers are a high priority by identifying and responding to their needs in a timely and efficient manner

Additional Desired/Skills

Experience with Professional Service Automation (PSA)

Revenue recognition and accounting experience

Initiative – Recognizes opportunities and initiates actions to capitalize on them by looking for a new and productive ways to make an impact

Capable of writing Standard, Advanced, Matrix and Composite reports. Experience with creating complex calculated fields, custom objects

Must be experienced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint; In Excel, must have ability to create pivot tables, v/lookups).

Ability to act quickly and iterate to achieve results

Building Organizational Commitment – Demonstrates commitment, integrity and appreciation for the organization

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, MIS, Engineering or Computer Science

Salary Range $150,000.00 - $170,000.00
