Job Description Takeda Pharmaceuticals America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support Workday-based reporting, analytics, and system configuration to enable data‑driven decision‑making and process improvement across HR functions.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data models within Workday; design, and maintain a variety of HR reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday's reporting tools (e.g., Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Discovery Boards, Worksheets).
Manage various projects related to new business acquisitions, legacy HR systems/data, and system upgrades; analyze HR data to provide meaningful insights to key stakeholders.
Stay up‑to‑date with industry best practices and Workday updates to enhance reporting capabilities and optimize system functionality; provide end‑user support and training to HR and other stakeholders on how to effectively use Workday reporting tools and resources.
Collaborate with HR Technology to identify process improvement opportunities, automate manual tasks, and improve data workflows; help with HRIS implementation projects, including system upgrades, mass data loads, and integrations with third‑party applications.
Lead Workday projects, aligning system enhancements with business and regulatory needs while ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption.
Up to 100% remote work allowed.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration, or related field plus 2 years of related experience.
Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Workday Prism; document business requirements, workflows, and functional specifications.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices using Workday functionalities; conduct gap analysis between business requirements and Workday capabilities.
Configure and maintain Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting; analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday system configurations.
Conduct system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Troubleshoot and resolve Workday‑related issues by collaborating with HR, IT, and other stakeholders.
Ensure security roles and permissions are appropriately configured and maintained; conduct periodic security audits and implement necessary access controls.
Compensation and Benefits Full time. $135,000 – $206,100 per year. Competitive compensation and benefits.
