Labor & Employment Associate
to join an
AmLaw firm’s Labor & Employment Practice
in
Houston . This is an exciting opportunity to work with a nationally recognized team handling complex labor and employment matters across industries.
About the Role The ideal candidate will have
a minimum of 2 years of labor and employment litigation experience , including work on
temporary restraining orders, trade secret misappropriation, noncompete disputes, and wage and hour class actions .
Responsibilities include
drafting pleadings, managing discovery, conducting motion practice , and contributing to
trial preparation and settlement negotiations . The role offers the chance to take on meaningful casework and client contact early on, in a supportive, high-performing environment.
Qualifications
Minimum of
2 years of labor and employment litigation experience
Experience with
trade secret, noncompete, and wage & hour matters
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Proficiency in
discovery, motion practice, and court filings
Trial preparation experience
in state and federal courts preferred
JD from an
ABA-accredited law school
Active Texas Bar admission
Demonstrated
interpersonal skills, professionalism, and client-service focus
