CarterWill Search is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a nationally recognized AmLaw litigation practice in Los Angeles, California. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex civil litigation, white collar matters, and related investigations across clients in technology, pharmaceutical, biopharma, life sciences, and other industries.
About the Role The ideal candidate will have 1–6 years of litigation experience, including exposure to white collar and investigative matters. Responsibilities include managing cases, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, and representing clients in various proceedings. Associates will also collaborate closely with senior attorneys and gain significant client‑facing experience.
Qualifications
1–6 years of experience in civil litigation, white collar, or investigations
JD from an ABA‑accredited law school
Top law firm experience or prestigious clerkship preferred
Strong academic credentials, legal research, and writing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
This position offers a salary range of $235,000–$390,000, discretionary merit bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including wellness reimbursements, healthcare coverage, paid parental leave, career coaching, retirement plans, and additional insurance options.
