Key Responsibilities Maximize Account Engagement

Engage as a trusted C-suite advisor to shape and advance enterprise data center transformation opportunities in partnership with WWT account and services sales teams, with a strong emphasis on regulated industries such as Banking and Financial Services

Proactively identify and qualify high-impact advisory-led opportunities that align with customers’ modernization, resilience, and hybrid cloud strategies

Collaborate across WWT solution areas to craft integrated, outcome-driven strategies that position WWT as the strategic transformation partner of choice

Quantify and communicate business value and ROI tied to modernization initiatives, including AI integration, automation, cost optimization, operational efficiency, and sustainability

Lead cross-functional teams to architect scalable, secure, and high-performing data center solutions that support enterprise modernization goals

Define and influence long-term transformation strategies and investment roadmaps that position WWT as a strategic partner over multiple years

Identify success metrics, governance models, and commercial strategies that maximize client impact and WWT profitability

Collaborate and Consult

Act as a thought leader on data center transformation trends, including co-location strategy, data sovereignty, modernization blueprints, automation, AI, and cloud-to-edge architectures

Partner across WWT and key ecosystem alliances to develop differentiated executive narratives, industry POVs, and repeatable GTM plays that reinforce WWT’s market leadership

Develop and standardize advisory frameworks, playbooks, and toolkits that scale across industries and enable repeatable, accelerated customer outcomes, including tailoring these frameworks to address regulatory, resiliency, and security requirements common in

Banking and Financial Services

Translate strategic business imperatives into actionable delivery strategies that align architecture, operations, and financial models

Proposals and Modeling

Lead comprehensive strategy and assessment engagements to define current-state maturity, future-state architectures, operating models, and investment roadmaps

Build robust business cases and financial models that drive C-suite decision-making – including TCO, ROI, and investment prioritization frameworks

Create boardroom-caliber presentations and proposals that articulate business value, risk mitigation, and strategic advantage

Partner with delivery and sales leadership to ensure proposals seamlessly transition from strategy to execution, enabling rapid value realization and measurable business outcomes

Market and Thought Leadership

Represent WWT as an industry thought leader in executive client forums, industry events, and strategic roundtables, particularly within the Banking and Financial Services industry

Provide competitive and market intelligence to shape WWT’s strategic positioning and future solution development

Contribute to the creation of signature POVs, whitepapers, and industry benchmarks that influence customer transformation strategies

Drive increased client engagement and pipeline growth by serving as a visible industry leader who influences strategic buying decisions

Qualifications

15+ years of experience advising enterprise clients on data center transformation strategy, modernization, and migration planning, including significant experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector

Previous Management Consulting Experience required

Proven ability to advise and deliver complex data center modernization strategies for Banking and Financial Services institutions, with an understanding of regulatory compliance, security, resiliency, and data sovereignty requirements.

Deep understanding of industry trends in data center strategy (e.g., hybrid cloud, colocation, modular DC, AI-driven infrastructure planning, automation, sustainability)

Demonstrated experience presenting and influencing at the Board and C-suite level, with clear and concise executive communication

Proven ability to shape and close large strategic advisory engagements that lead to downstream implementation services

Act as a thought leader representing WWT in executive client settings, industry forums, and strategic briefings

Contribute to the development of data center strategy POVs, playbooks, and reusable assets to accelerate customer transformation

Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform customer strategy and internal GTM initiatives

Experience with complex commercial models including strategy-led consulting, implementation and managed services, and transformation programs

Expertise building future-state architectures integrating modern DC, hybrid cloud, networking, and security and automation principles

High proficiency at collaborating, managing conflicting interests, and dealing with ambiguity

Strong leadership qualities: able to have "presence" in senior exec client settings; capable of gaining the trust of customers; able to lead WWT team within the account

Intellectually curious: the desire to understand constantly evolving technology solutions and how they connect to business and IT outcomes

Assertive, collaborative, self-starter with emotional intelligence as well as the capacity to learn and synthesize new information to provide customers and the WWT account team with useful insights

Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Self-directed, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands

Location: New York is preferred

Travel: 20%

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $225,000 - $275,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
