About the Role
CarterWill Search is seeking a
Corporate Associate
to join an
AmLaw firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice
in
Chicago . This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a leading team handling high-profile strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, and other complex corporate transactions for sophisticated clients.
The ideal candidate will have
at least 2 years of M&A experience , with a focus on
company-side representation
and
strategic transactions . The role involves working closely with clients and senior attorneys on all aspects of deal execution, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and managing closing processes.
This position is best suited for a motivated associate who thrives in a
fast-paced, team-oriented environment
and enjoys combining
strategic thinking with hands-on deal work .
Qualifications
Minimum of
2 years of experience
in M&A transactions
Experience with
company-side representation and strategic acquisitions
JD from an
ABA-accredited law school
Strong academic record
and analytical ability
Excellent
drafting, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to
manage multiple transactions
simultaneously and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues
