We will count on you to: Serve in a technical role, under the direction of a Project Manager. Oversee the work of EITs and Junior Project Engineers. Take responsibility for project involvement, from site feasibility analysis to final design and through construction. Support local and national projects for transit and freight railroad clients. Follow a project from concept, through design, to construction. Work on project types including streetcar and light rail lines, heavy rail passenger and commuter lines, freight capacity projects, yards, terminals, maintenance facilities, stations, and more. Travel to project sites, interface with clients and HDR colleagues, and attend conferences or training. Preferred Qualifications

2 years of experience in transportation design, specifically railroad projects. Experience with Bentley OpenRoads (and/or OpenRail) Designer. Experience working with railroad and/or transit clients. Required Qualifications

Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the position's location (e.g., PE or P.Eng). Hands-on experience with MicroStation, OpenRail Designer, AutoCAD, and Civil3D. Ability to work independently and in a team. Proficiency with MS Office. Excellent communication and project management skills. Commitment to our employee-owned culture. Our Values and Commitment
