We are seeking a Physician Recruitment Assistant to join the Duke Medical Staff Recruitment team. The position will partner with physician and APP recruiters to lead the internal administrative recruitment process in support of DHIP’s mission. Responsibilities
Independently evaluate physician and APP CVs for minimum qualifications, board certification, licensure, and alignment with specialty requirements. Recommend candidates for advancement to senior recruiters and hiring leaders. Design and execute physician/APP interview itineraries, balancing schedules and departmental needs. Manage external vendor relationships, negotiate services, resolve conflicts, and ensure fiscal accountability. Partner with recruiters and leadership to design specialty‑specific recruitment strategies and analyze pipeline data for process improvements. Liaise with physician recruitment teams, onboarding, credentialing, and benefits partners to provide consultative guidance. Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration or related field. 1–2 years of physician recruitment experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Ability to drive to DHIP administrative office in Durham, NC for occasional meetings or in‑person booth coverage. Hours
