Job Summary
At Terumo Cardiovascular, we develop, manufacture and distribute medical devices for cardiac and vascular surgery with an emphasis on cardiopulmonary bypass, intra-operative monitoring and vascular grafting. This includes a full-line of perfusion products, endoscopic vessel harvesting products and surgical stabilization products.

This position is responsible for assisting with administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources function and responsibilities, and for helping with the implementation of services, policies, programs, and activities to support site-specific needs. May assist with activities that could affect the Quality System, such as administration of quality documents.
Job Details/Responsibilities
In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.2. Provide administrative support to human resources function as needed (e.g., correspondence generation, record keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry).
Exercise discretion, judgment, confidentiality, professionalism, and tact in dealing with all issues.
Coordinate and process HR-related forms such as new hire paperwork, drug and pre-employment background screening and status changes. Participate in on-boarding activities for new Associates and assist as necessary with other recruitment activities.
Process Workers Compensation, FMLA, and related paperwork on a timely basis as applicable.
Manage completion and updating of OSHA logs.
Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures and federal and state regulations with regard to all human resources practices.
Maintain files, records, and other required documentation and/or information. Perform necessary modification of files, records and information retention and maintenance systems. This may include completing requests for employment verification.
Perform administrative duties including but not limited to mail, faxes, filing, preparing meeting materials/handbooks, expense reports, scheduling meetings and conference rooms, etc. Disseminate information and maintain bulletin boards.
Conduct research that will assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/ Background Experiences Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of human resources experience or two-year college degree and a minimum of two years of human resource experience. Basic computer software skills, i.e., Microsoft Office
