Human Resources Coordinator

This non-exempt, full-time position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department by providing administrative, operational, and technical support to the Human Resources team and all Topigs Norsvin USA (TNUSA) employees. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, streamlining HR processes, and fostering a positive and professional work environment.

A commitment to maintain the confidential nature of TNUSA and Topigs Norsvin International (TNI) company business is essential. The starting salary range for this position is $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 annual base salary.

Actual compensation packages consider a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate. The total compensation may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance and our 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation such as goal-based bonuses. Essential Functions

Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications. Coordinate the full onboarding process: offer letters, background checks, new hire paperwork, orientation, and first-day logistics. Serve as a point of contact for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS and personnel files, ensuring data integrity and compliance. Support the planning, scheduling, and tracking of training programs and compliance-related initiatives. Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs. Support employee relations efforts, addressing routine concerns or escalating more complex matters to HR leadership. Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws as well as internal HR policies. Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes and enhancing employee experience. Process and track HR-related invoices (e.g., for background checks, training providers, benefits vendors, recruitment agencies), ensuring accuracy and timely payment. Education and Experience

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or 2–4 years of HR support or coordinator experience in lieu of formal education. Strong working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and applicable labor laws. Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook). High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. A proactive, service-oriented approach with a positive, professional demeanor. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. The HR Coordinator generally works in an office environment. Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time and perform computer operations. Other Duties
