About the Role We are seeking experienced and motivated
Superintendents
to oversee commercial construction projects in
Mobile
and
Birmingham, Alabama . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing job sites, coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
This is a full-time, on-site position offering opportunities for long-term growth with a respected and dynamic construction team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and safety requirements.
Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and project documentation.
Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve on-site issues.
Conduct and lead safety meetings; enforce OSHA and company safety protocols.
Monitor quality control, cost management, and project milestones.
Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day field operations.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience
as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations.
Proven ability to lead job sites and supervise multiple trades.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proficient in construction management software and digital reporting tools.
OSHA certification preferred.
Willingness to travel within project areas as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in ground-up, tilt-wall, or industrial construction projects.
Familiarity with Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software.
Strong knowledge of local subcontractor markets in Alabama.
