In accordance with CCR 249.3, this job control may be used to fill subsequent vacancies. This position is subject to the Department of Conservation’s Conflict of Interest code. Candidates may be precluded from employment if they or their spouse hold interests in oil, gas, or geothermal entities. Limit duties to one entry; multiple entries for the same position may lead to disqualification. Under the guidance of the Administrative Support Unit's Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is responsible for overseeing and executing a range of administrative support functions. This includes reviewing and analyzing CalGEM documents and processes, assisting with CalGEM HQ hiring and recruitment packages, and providing recommendations for process improvements within CalGEM. The AGPA will collaborate with internal subject matter experts and work closely with CalGEM managers and supervisors to facilitate organizational changes. The AGPA will offer independent consultations to managers and supervisors on complex personnel matters and organizational structure issues. The incumbent is expected to demonstrate strong independence, initiative, critical thinking, and creativity in their work. Notes : All relevant work experience, skills, and qualifications must be listed on STD. 678.
