Responsibilities

Performs maintenance service requests and preventative maintenance work throughout the community.

Performs turn service for vacant units in accordance with established quality standards.

Ensures community common areas and grounds are maintained in accordance to Company standards; identifies and resolves hazards.

Understanding of progress to key performance indicators and identifying opportunities.

Provides excellent customer service through responsiveness and positive interactions.

Performs work using safe work practices. Ensures completion of safety training and actively identifies safety issues and mitigates risks.

Maintain accurate records of work performed utilizing Salesforce.

Perform community projects which could include painting, drywall repair, stucco repair, etc.

After hours emergency calls response upon completion of onboarding.

Compensation Base Pay Start Rate:

$29.99/hr

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. 0+ years of maintenance experience required. Basic troubleshooting skills. Basic understanding of at least one of the following: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, appliances.

Training program to be completed if no or minimal previous maintenance experience

Other:

Valid California driver’s license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company’s MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Multilingual ability a plus

Ability to move in and out of a variety of positions which include the following: sitting, standing, walking, squatting, stair and ladder climbing, kneeling, belly crawling, overhead reaching, lifting, carrying

Ability to push and pull up to 118 pounds of force

Ability to lift below waist up to 77 pounds and above waist 45 lbs

Must complete and pass pulmonary exam and respirator fit test.

Travel between communities may be required daily.

Ability to perform these functions at multiple sites is required.
