Overview
The MEP Manager is responsible for overseeing all electrical systems throughout the design, construction, commissioning, and handover phases of data center projects. The goal is to ensure that all MEP systems are delivered on time, on budget, and meet the high reliability and efficiency standards required for mission-critical facilities. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
10 years of construction management experience
An excellent level of English is mandatory
Proven construction management experience in the Data Center or logistic sector is requested
Proven planning skills (Primavera P6 and MS Project)
Professional accreditation as (PMI/PRINCE/AGILE or equivalent, LEED or BREEAM) will be considered a plus
Driver license required
Workplace will be in Milan with daily presence on project site

Responsibilities
Collaborate with design consultants and internal stakeholders to review and validate
Ensure MEP designs align with client requirements, industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEEE, etc.), and local codes.
Provide constructability feedback and value engineering input.
Coordinate the integration of MEP systems with architectural, structural, IT, and security components.
Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination between mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low-voltage systems.
Lead MEP coordination meetings with design teams, contractors, and vendors.
Monitor and manage the execution of MEP works on-site, ensuring adherence to design documents, specifications, and quality standards.
Review and approve MEP installation drawings, method statements, and technical submittals.
Ensure MEP contractors comply with safety regulations and best practices.
Develop and maintain the MEP schedule, aligned with the master project schedule.
Track progress of MEP works against milestones and escalate any deviations or risks.
Manage and coordinate long-lead MEP equipment procurement and delivery timelines.
Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes for all MEP installations.
Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
Manage the commissioning process, including Integrated Systems Testing (IST) for MEP systems.
Ensure all systems are tested, balanced, and documented prior to handover.
Ensure all as-built drawings, test certificates, warranties, and O&M manuals are collected and reviewed.
Support the project closeout process and ensure all MEP documentation is handed over to operation
