Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr. Analyst, DataCore / HIE. In this role, the DataCore / HIE team seeks a Sr Analyst, Solution Development who will contribute to IT and data efforts. By teaming up with clinicians, researchers, operations and administrative teams, the individual will develop innovative and impactful data-driven healthcare solutions. The DataCore / HIE team is multi-faceted. We sit within Research Informatics, supporting the research data ecosystem by provisioning data sets, data-related services, and end user applications focusing on the secondary use of clinical and administrative data. In addition, we also oversee various IT and data services related to the Clinically Integrated Network, featuring NYULMC faculty practice physicians and independent affiliated practices, who work together on value-based contracts as part of the NYUPN Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). The NYUPN\'s mission is to improve healthcare delivery and quality by bringing critical information to care providers at the point of care as well as NYUPN staff focusing on quality, medication adherence, care coordination, analytics and provider engagement. As part of that work, the team oversees various health information exchange (HIE) operations, including results delivery to external practices, and data flows to and from our regional HIE partner, Healthix. Job Responsibilities

Oversees management of applications for our various areas of responsibility: DataCore operations and HIE operations (inclusive of IT support for IVF practices). Coordinates new IT project and product requests from business and clinical partners, advances them through established MCIT review and approval processes, and oversees process of applications builds and deployments. Participates in system analysis and research related to our various systems and applications. Keeps informed of new developments in information systems and incorporates into practice whenever feasible. Participates in vendor and market analysis to identify alternatives. Participates in meetings with vendors for everything from troubleshooting fixes to future development and enhancement of systems. Serves as a resource for other departments regarding our HIE and DataCore operations. Interacts with ancillary and support departments. Acts as a representative on committees, workgroups, and corporate initiatives. Performs analysis, design, and specification development. Translates organizational and regulatory requirements into workable system changes based on system capability. Documents changes and change requests. Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Computer Science. 4 or more years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $106,376.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
