Overview of the role
We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Project Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. This position supports the PMCM NY Team and may involve business development activities and direct client relationships. You will be involved with project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives and will provide construction oversight and resolve complex project-related challenges. You will analyze and develop reports, meeting minutes, correspondences, project awards, invoices, and assist with development and management of project budgets, schedules, and project controls. This role requires the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Manage and provide construction oversight and resolve complex construction project-related challenges. Analyze and develop reports, meeting minutes, correspondences, project awards, and invoices. Assist with development and management of project budgets, schedules, and project controls. Provide effective project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and add value to the client by applying proven project management techniques. Lead teams and maintain client relationships; develop business opportunities where applicable. Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management 10+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in the AEC industry Strong knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, OSHA 30 Certification Strong people leadership skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships Knowledge of MEP estimating, scheduling and cost control Thorough knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document control, forecast scheduling and costs, change order review, and payments Proactive interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships Valid driver\'s license and ability to travel to project sites Possess an OSHA 30 certification Ideally, you’ll also have
