COO (Healthcare Operations) — Brooklyn, NY (on-site) Salary: $200K-$275K (DOE) We are seeking a dynamic

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

to oversee the day-to-day operations of a rapidly growing healthcare organization serving over 400 clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven operations leader to take charge of multiple departments including

Coordination, Intake, and Recruiting , ensuring efficiency, compliance, and seamless client service. The COO will work closely with leadership to execute operational strategies, oversee department heads, and ensure alignment across the organization. Prior experience managing

Coordination as a standalone department

is critical, as this area is central to ensuring smooth service delivery and operational success. Must-Haves

3–5 years of leadership experience overseeing

healthcare operations , including

direct oversight of coordination departments

Proven ability to manage multiple functions such as

intake, recruiting, and coordination

Experience supervising mid-size teams (5 supervisors and 25+ staff)

Strong attention to detail and ability to execute existing strategies effectively

Demonstrated leadership qualities with a track record of holding teams accountable

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee

operations across all departments , with a specific focus on

Coordination, Intake, and Recruiting

Supervise

5+ supervisors and 25+ staff , ensuring accountability and performance across the organization

Manage and strengthen the

Coordination department , ensuring effective communication and workflow between staff and clients

Track and monitor

operational performance metrics , implementing improvements where needed

Collaborate with leadership to

execute and refine existing operational strategies

Ensure

cross-departmental alignment

to deliver consistent and high-quality client services

Act as a key liaison between operations staff and executive leadership

Qualifications

3–5 years of senior-level operations management in

healthcare, home care, or ABA services

Proven experience

overseeing coordination departments

as part of broader operational leadership

Demonstrated success managing multiple departments and teams of 25+ staff

Strong background in

process management, compliance, and performance oversight

Skilled in team leadership, staff development, and operational scaling

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred
