The primary mission of the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is to protect the Nation from acts of terrorism while ensuring the efficient flow of lawful traffic and commerce by managing, controlling, and securing the Nation’s land, air, and sea borders. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) acts as the “frontline” border security component and is the largest and most complex organization within DHS. CBP is responsible for securing and facilitating trade and travel while enforcing hundreds of U.S. regulations, including immigration and drug laws. The Data Operational Support Coordinator assists in processing the ongoing backlog of non-U.S. citizen case files and humanitarian efforts conducted by CBP, DHS Volunteer Force, other supporting government entities, and contractors. The Coordinators will perform the following responsibilities: (I) Log demographic information pertaining to non-U.S. citizens into the DHS/CBP systems, including verification of demographic information. The Data Operational Support Coordinators will serve in a civilian capacity. They are not involved in law enforcement duties and do not participate in patrolling the border or apprehending undocumented migrants. Responsibilities

The Contractor Data Operational Support Coordinator shall conduct activities related to non-U.S. citizens released from DHS/CBP custody: Perform initial administrative review of case file verification for non-U.S. citizens. Verify the address provided by non-citizens using USPS or other address verification tools. Contact non-U.S. citizens (via phone or email) to verify current demographic information. Communicate in Spanish with non-U.S. citizens with limited English proficiency. Draft and maintain administrative paperwork related to deportation documentation. Perform Data Entry in systems such as e3, EAGLE, and EARM, including linking family units/groups and submitting cases in RAP. Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to pass DHS CBP background checks. Fluent in Spanish and English (listening, speaking, reading, writing). High school diploma required; some college preferred. At least 2 years of office experience with customer interaction. Related coursework in information systems, office software, or similar may substitute for experience. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to pass annual IT training and certification. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and online databases. Working Conditions

Office environment in a government facility. May need to lift/move objects up to 25 lbs. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm, with no expected weekend or holiday shifts. Up to 15% travel may be required. About the company
