Position Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the efficient and timely delivery of fuel products on company trucks and common carriers, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Responsibilities Manage inventory levels, set supplier pull points, and schedule fuel deliveries utilizing company trucks and common carriers. Ensure the deliveries arrive within the retain and run-out times. Schedule based on priority while not violating restricted times. Make decisions regarding common carriers based on scheduling availability and supply source. Review Underground Storage Tank (UST) polling data exceptions and determine missed deliveries, accept sales variances and delivery retains. Conduct, control and coordinate dispatch activities: effectively optimize driver schedules. Edit/adjust dispatched loads in collaboration with the supply team to ensure maximum benefit in regard to daily market trends. Responsible for ensuring all supply contract term volumes have been fulfilled weekly / monthly. Work closely with Driver Supervisors to ensure proper coverage, coordination of driver meetings and truck swaps. Coordinate tank tests and pump outs with carriers or terminals to assure that product arrives or is pumped out within the time restraints required. May be assigned additional duties based on needs to include but not limited to, route card updates, inputting and reconcile of common carrier invoices and software maintenance. Requirements High School diploma/GED required 1-2 years of logistics dispatch recommended Ability to multi-task, prioritize, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills No travel required Must be flexible with condensed hours and partial weekends are required. Work holidays as scheduled. Minimal physical effort required, sitting / standing at computer for long periods of time. Ability to maneuver and lift up to 10 lbs.
