Manufacturing Engineer – Assembly
Join Janicki Industries as a Manufacturing Engineer – Assembly located on‑site in Hamilton, Washington. Janicki is a family‑owned aerospace company focused on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for the aerospace, defense, and space industries.
Responsibilities
Work directly with internal teams to provide technical guidance and feedback on designs for manufacturability and specification compliance.
Identify opportunities for process improvement in manufacturing and design standards.
Investigate and evaluate new technologies to support the value stream.
Champion quality standards and manage changes to best practices across the company.
Assist with manufacturing plans and manage initiatives to completion at final assembly.
Maintain a daily presence on the shop floor to ensure project health.
Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
Qualifications
U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident Status (ITAR/EAR compliance).
Must obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and be eligible for a Continuous Evaluation program.
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience with tooling fabrication, milling, and assembly in a lean manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
High school diploma or GED is minimum requirement.
