A Day in the Life of an Asbestos Certified Project Supervisor: As a Project Supervisor, you work with leadership to plan, evaluate, and execute scopes of work for restoration projects. You manage subcontractor proposals, create project schedules, and ensure smooth, successful project execution. You lead by example, support your crew, tackle challenges, and contribute to a positive, professional client experience. You maintain real-time updates on budgets, schedules, and risks, conduct daily job site meetings, and ensure safety and compliance with industry and company standards. This role is on-call with 24/7 availability and may involve physical labor as needed. First Onsite emphasizes dedication, collaboration, and professional development. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage asbestos abatement projects in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, specifically adhering to North Carolina DHHS and OSHA standards Ensure safe work practices, lead abatement crews, maintain documentation, and liaise with Project Managers and regulatory agencies Solicit, review, and approve subcontractor proposals within budget Prepare and maintain project schedules for crews and subcontractors Manage jobsite documentation: daily logs, reports, inventories, timesheets, equipment records, and material tracking Monitor project budget, gross profit, and schedule; report risks proactively Manage change orders and scope adjustments Perform additional tasks as needed, including physical labor Maintain vehicles and equipment ready for response On-call position with 24/7 availability and variable hours Experience & Education
