Job Title:
Engineering Analyst III
Location:
Flint / Holly / Groveland, MI Onsite 4 days/week (Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts),
Travel: Up to 1 hour commute to construction sites; occasional Fridays/Saturdays as required (OT eligible, mileage reimbursable)
Duration:
12 months contract

GPS technologies in utility space, this team is laying groundwork of taking advantage of GPS technologies
construction organization supporting operates a 4/10 schedule M-Th. Fridays and Saturdays will work OT when necessary
Construction teams - support eastern region (Groveland and Clyle, all the way east to Lake Huron)
Responsibilities work in the field, 10-hour day
work with gas construction crews
offer support and take GPS of newly installed facilities along with existing facilities that have been opposed
use technology o GPS antenna and work with crews to capture GPS points of what is newly installed and existing points that are already in the ground
climbing ladders into the holes, get into excavation to take GPS points of existing and newly installed gas pipes/fittings
continually updating locations
real time construction, it is something that is being installed and they use GPS to prevent damages
ability to integrate with operating teams and "speak the lingo"'
anticipate on what to expect on construction sites
support operating teams and projects they are assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
OSHA 10 cert.
experience working with gas or construction
general knowledge of understanding the construction that is taking place that the gas crews are completing
experience with municipal infrastructure, design, construction aptitude and knowledge, stake and locate experience (solid background for roles they are developing).
