FASTSIGNS®
Sign Production Specialist brings a dynamic, creative, and fast‑paced environment to assemble sign and graphic products for a wide range of business applications. This role works in the FASTSIGNS® Center sign production area, fully equipped with top‑of‑the‑line sign‑making equipment.
Responsibilities
Follow a layout to place computer‑generated vinyl or full‑color graphic images on a pre‑determined substrate or medium.
Prepare substrates for application, including cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, and maintaining the substrates for vinyl application.
Weed excess vinyl from computer cut images.
Work in the field performing installations to vehicles, building interiors, and exteriors.
Perform quality assurance measures pre‑ and post‑production.
Perform finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of printed pieces.
Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchise partner.
Help unload raw materials and keep storage areas clean and maintained.
Work on different projects simultaneously.
Establish and maintain effective team relationships with all support departments.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; advanced education degree preferred.
Valid Driver’s License.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa).
Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work.
Ability to use light power equipment and stand for long periods of time.
Must have the flexibility to lean over a waist‑high table and use back‑forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate.
