Entry Level Civil Engineer - Electric Vehicle (EV) & Telecommunications

Orlando, FL . Dewberry's Orlando office is seeking an entry-level civil engineer interested in starting a career in a fast-paced and growing industry. The EV & Telecommunications engineering department is looking for a client-focused, highly motivated, organized, outgoing, and proactive engineer to make an immediate impact while developing project management and technical experience.
Responsibilities
Job entails field data collection, preparation of civil site plans, and coordination of design and schedule with clients and team members. Site designs often include grading, erosion control, and stormwater management design. The role includes conducting field data collection, preparing Electric Vehicle (EV) & wireless facility designs, coordinating all design aspects with a team, tracking project progress, and providing construction control and inspection support.
Required Skills & Required Experience
BS in Civil Engineering is required 0-2 years of experience in Civil or Structural Engineering FE is preferred with P.E. track expected Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Communicate effectively with clients, team members & sub consultants Develop technical design documents for leasing, zoning and permitting Composes technical reports, memorandums and other written communication Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects with varying teams Interest in adding skill sets outside of civil engineering including project management, geotechnical, electrical, and mechanical
