Summary

You will be responsible for the analysis of product, process, equipment and method issues at designated stages of product development and manufacturing. You will lead and support actions to prevent and reduce all costs associated with poor quality, and work to maximize product conformance to specified requirements while ensuring best possible manufacturability. Responsibilities

Hands‑on position ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction. Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation. Plan and conduct analysis, inspection, design, test, and integration for assigned product or component. Devise sampling procedures and design forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data. Establish programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical facilities. Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company records. Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods to analyze data and assess current process and changes. Review all purchased products or components and provide input for vendor selection and future purchases. Operate Keyence LMX / CMM equipment for QA part inspections related to receiving, in‑process, and end‑of‑line specifications. Prepare metallographic lab sample sheets, conduct inspections, and approve samples. Generate materials dispositions to support nonconformance processes and perform root‑cause analysis with project teams to recommend corrective and preventative actions. Document data obtained during all quality activities in accordance with company policies and procedures. Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities. Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and recommend process improvements to management. Prepare reports to communicate involvement and results of quality activities. Present technical and program information to team members and management. Direct technical and administrative workers engaged in quality activities. Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards. Be available for evening and weekend work when necessary to meet goals and deadlines. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Engineering, Mathematics or a related science field. 5–7 years of relevant Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in statistical methods, computer skills, and problem‑solving. Experience using Keyence Instant Measurement (LMX) and/or CMM Dimensional Measurement equipment. Benefits
