Senior Engineering Project Manager role at HDR. HDR is an employee-owned company that values diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Our teams work to make a positive impact in communities and the world. Primary Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project lifecycle (from development and initiation to close-out). Manage all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high technical complexity and a large project staff. Produce and coordinate multiple highway/roadway projects concurrently. Establish and maintain client relations with state and local agencies (e.g., ODOT, Counties, Cities) across Ohio. Familiar with highway design standards from ODOT and other agencies. Participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings. Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders. Coordinate staffing and workload through the project life cycle and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule. Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort to meet budget and schedule parameters. Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews. Implement QA/QC procedures and perform QC reviews on highway/roadway projects you are not managing. Supervise large project staffs and mentor less-experienced Project Managers and engineers/production staff. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree PMP certification Preference given to local candidates Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering 10 years related experience Minimum 5 years project management experience Professional Engineer (PE) license MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience a plus) Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills Active participation in HDR’s employee-owned culture What We Believe
