Communicate daily with overseas factories to request samples, pricing quotes, and product details Track and follow up on all sample requests, ensuring on-time delivery for internal review and customer presentations Collect, organize, and prepare samples for meetings, photography, and approvals Request and negotiate product pricing with factories, provide cost comparisons and recommendations Maintain accurate costing sheets and project trackers Coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams to provide updated pricing, lead times, and sample availability Ensure packaging, labeling, and shipping requirements are communicated and followed by factories Escalate and resolve delays, missing information, or discrepancies quickly to keep projects on track Provide clear, consistent updates to management on project status Qualifications
Los Angeles-based, in-office, Monday–Friday Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) 2+ years of experience in Product Development, Sourcing, or Project Coordination (Consumer Goods experience preferred; Tabletop/Homewares experience a plus) Strong organizational skills with excellent follow-up discipline Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines Computer proficiency (Excel, Word; project trackers or PLM tools a plus) Bonus: Merchandising sense (understanding what makes a product appealing to buyers/consumers) Bonus: Negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and terms with factories Bonus: Mandarin language skills and experience working with Chinese factories Compensation and Benefits
