What We’re Offering: Salary Range: $71,000 - $104,000 Tempur Sealy values our employees and offers competitive wages and benefits, including: Competitive pay and bonus plans Comprehensive medical, dental, and wellness programs Disability and life insurance paid by the company Generous paid time off Retirement plan options Employee purchase discounts What You’ll Do: Maintain responsibility for the installation, start-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical and electrical processes used in mattress manufacturing, including equipment such as sewing machines, foam fabrication tools, motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, etc. Manage and optimize plant equipment to ensure efficient production, longevity, and product quality. Plan, delegate, and perform work requiring thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical theories, specifications, electrical codes, material properties, and electronic equipment operation. Directly manage maintenance staff, contractors, and OEMs to ensure safety, timely production, and project completion. Collaborate with the Plant Director and Department Supervisors to meet production goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent experience). At least 2 years of experience with manufacturing, mechanical, and electrical systems, including hydraulic systems, HVAC, pumps, piping, and PLCs. Supervisory experience is preferred but not required. Experience with computer maintenance management systems. Certifications in arc flash, HAZWOPER, forklift operation, or the ability to obtain them. Certificates/licenses in electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, boilers, or PLC controls are preferred. Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment, with physical requirements such as standing, bending, and lifting.
