KC-767 International Tanker Aerial Refueling Integration Electronic Systems Design & Analysis engineer primarily focusing on DMS obsolescence resolution Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving Develops requirements documentation as well as test plans/procedures/reports Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions Evaluates customer and/or operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes Resolves cross-functional technical issues Communicates with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables Develops conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources Provides technical solutions to a variety of difficult problems of moderate scope and complexity Receives general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives Capable of evaluating customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 2 or more years of related work experience Experience with multiple engineering disciplines necessary to successfully integrate avionics and/or electric systems hardware Knowledge of aircraft systems (e.g., navigation, avionics, fuel, hydraulics, pneumatic, etc.) including operations and troubleshooting Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Technical (Electrical/Electronic Engr) bachelor’s degree Experience with business applications Experience dealing with ITAR requirements Systems Integration Lab (SIL) experience Experience with aerial refueling systems/platforms Experience with civil and/or military certification/qualification Additional Information
