Job Summary We are seeking a Project Structural Engineer with Buildings experience to join our growing team in Austin, TX. Responsibilities & Qualifications DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work on buildings projects of various types, including commercial, institutional, and residential. Travel to project sites and meetings as needed. Contribute to engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements. Propose approaches to solve new problems encountered. Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. Prepare technical specification sections. Sign off and approve your own work. Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines as needed. Perform work within the agreed budget and schedule with minimal supervision. Conduct peer reviews and make technical presentations. Provide specialized technical input to studies and design in your area of expertise. QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION AND/OR JOB EXPERIENCE): Bachelor’s degree in engineering. P.E license or eligibility to register is required. Experience in executing commercial, institutional, and residential projects as a Structural Project Engineer is preferred.
