VSC Acquisitions Specialist
Holman, a family‑owned global automotive services organization, invites you to join as a VSC Acquisitions Specialist. In this role you will place Factory and Direct Orders with OEMs and procure stock vehicles out of dealer inventory on behalf of our clients.
Responsibilities
Efficiently order vehicles through Evos, OEM ordering systems, or the Asset Request Form.
Collaborate with dealers nationwide to arrange deliveries and dealer‑installed items.
Gather all required information for order placement with internal partners.
Coordinate upfit routing and issue upfit purchase orders to vendors.
Review client and OEM parameters to ensure documented processes are followed.
Log and manage incomplete order FT cases, rejected orders, and order discrepancies uncovered during the checking process.
Complete revisions to chassis and upfit purchase orders as needed.
Verify factory acknowledgements to confirm all customer specifications are correctly ordered and routed.
Search for a vehicle similar to the selector provided and build prospects accurately based on the dealer invoice.
Price units accurately and obtain documentation required for payment and processing from the dealer.
Work with the upfit specialist and dealers to quote install for upfit items.
Route vehicles to the appropriate end destination from dealer, either to an upfitter or directly to the driver.
Obtain quotes on delivery as needed and interface with OEMs, dealers, upfitters, and internal customers.
Required Skills
High accuracy and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.
Advanced problem‑solving and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and ensure progress forward.
Strong attention to detail and follow‑up with solid foundation in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
Basic knowledge of cars/trucks (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in college (preferred).
