Overview The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for ERP Module Lead.

General Description Leads one or more specific application module(s) of the PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation. Serves as the primary business process expert directly responsible for leading a specialized team in the design and implementation of the ERP system for a specific functional area.

Works under administrative supervision, planning, designing, configuring, testing and training of the assigned module(s).

This position ensures that business processes and ERP system configuration are aligned by serving as the liaison between ERP users and the ERP support center. Responsibilities include designing/redesigning business processes, overseeing development, configuring, maintaining, or enhancing the system to accommodate Payroll and Human Resource processes. The role provides ongoing analytical services to identify changes in work practices and requirements for technology applications and conducts implementation of associated system changes. The position analyzes Human Capital Management (HCM) information, identifies trends, and provides management information for decision making.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business, Public Administration or a field related to the functional module.

(One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.)

Requires four (4) years of experience in the area of the functional module.

Special Certifications and Licenses None.

Preferences Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws as they relate to Human Resource policies and processes.

Experience or knowledge using the following PeopleSoft HCM modules: Human Resource, Benefits, Payroll, and Absence Management

Experience using Phire, Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft Query, and Microsoft SharePoint.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Coordinate with employees in each functional and business area who are knowledgeable of current business practices and County systems.

Review and update project schedules; report progress on milestones, dependencies, and critical path items to the Functional Team Lead.

Coordinate functional application setup, assist with system configuration, data mapping, data conversion, and testing; develop test plans and scripts; provide test data.

Lead Discovery, Preview, and Interactive Design and Prototyping (IDP) sessions; assess results for completeness and user acceptance; facilitate follow-up discussions.

Communicate issues to the Functional Team Lead; identify and coordinate work dependencies; provide input on best practices.

Assist with training material development and train-the-trainer planning and support.

Assist in designing functional design specifications with technical consultants; serve as a change agent in interactions with project teams and County employees.

Perform business process mapping and develop specification documentation for system configuration.

Test functionality in HR/Payroll modules; troubleshoot system problems related to the HCM Workforce Administration module.

Research, evaluate, and recommend configurations; test ERP application patches, changes, upgrades, and roll-outs.

Evaluate, modify, and test security access for users; perform ad hoc audits of master data; ensure data integrity.

Validate data loading for PeopleSoft submodules; assist in cross-agency process management and training needs assessment.

Design and create reports; perform related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands Physical demands refer to requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement. This is typically sedentary work with sitting most of the time; some walking or standing may be required.
