Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Overview Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities

Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues

Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines

Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment

Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads

Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours

Qualifications

Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills

Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent GED

Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred

Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance

Driver’s license and outstanding driving record is necessary

Compensation $13 hourly
