Civil Engineer
with a strong background in structural assessments, site evaluations, and public sector collaboration. This is a key role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, emergency response environments and understands the demands of both government and commercial clients.

What You’ll Do:
Conduct structural assessments and evaluations following fire, water, or catastrophic damage Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and construction crews on mitigation and reconstruction plans Provide engineering support for permitting, site development, temporary structures, and erosion control Work with government agencies, municipalities, and insurance adjusters to ensure code compliance and safety Prepare documentation, drawings, and reports as needed for regulatory submittals and client communication Support project scope development, change orders, and field inspections on active job sites
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (PE license preferred) Minimum 3–5 years of field experience in civil or structural engineering (restoration or reconstruction preferred) Knowledge of local codes, FEMA/NFIP guidelines, and government permitting processes Ability to create and review construction documents, site plans, and engineering reports Excellent communication and time management skills Strong critical thinking and situational judgment, especially in post-disaster conditions
