Fragrance Development Manager/ Sr. New York, NY, US Pay Range: 103k – 172k

Key Responsibilities: Develop winning fragrances for mutual success of Firmenich and clients’ brands Partner, guide and support all Fine Fragrance perfumers by bringing them: consumer trends and data; cross-category info; client white space opportunities; creative idea inspirations; collecting starting points Select submissions adapted to brief parameters and provide rationale and feed collection with updated and strategically selected ideas Incorporate maximum use of internal tools to practice informed creation, in particular Consumer Insights and Technical Innovation tools Detect and forecast future olfactive and product trends, including cross-category, with eye towards need for Fine Fragrance Participate to account strategy definition and execution (collaborate across functions: Marketing, Technical Innovation, CI, Perfumers, Sales) and be prepared to lead client presentations on olfactive strategy Promote positive team spirit by contributing to common objectives and sharing information We value: This level position is driven by the number of years and complexity, importance of assigned customers and product categories, as well as successful track record Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills Agility, flexibility, curiosity, a growth mindset and hunger to win REQUIRED

– Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Fine Fragrance evaluation with Specialty Retail experience a plus.
