We’re partnered with a leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturer seeking a Project Engineer / Project Manager to drive multiple engineering and facility projects at an operational GMP manufacturing site. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced life sciences project engineer who enjoys managing equipment installations, facility upgrades, and technical deliverables within regulated environments. Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day project execution including scheduling, vendor coordination, and progress tracking. Support installation and qualification of process and utility systems such as clean utilities, process skids, HVAC, and support equipment. Coordinate with engineering, validation, and quality teams to ensure GMP compliance and project readiness. Develop and maintain documentation — URS, design specifications, FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ protocols, meeting minutes, and progress reports. Communicate effectively across internal stakeholders, external contractors, and vendors. Manage change control, deviation documentation, and project closeout activities. Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field. 5–10 years of experience in project engineering, capital projects, or facilities management within pharmaceutical, biotech, or CDMO manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of GMP regulations, facility design, clean utilities, and engineering documentation. Proficient with MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar project tracking tools. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced settings. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills. Seniority level
