Carpenter

that is skilled and dedicated with a passion for precision and craftsmanship, committed to supporting mission-critical operations. What You’ll Do

Perform routine and preventative maintenance of building woodwork and associated equipment. Design, build, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements and provide accurate work estimates. Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements. Inspect building frameworks to identify the need for repairs or replacements and ensure structural integrity. Liaise with other maintenance teams to coordinate renovations or major repair tasks. Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment during all construction activities. Maintain accurate records of materials inventory and task completion to ensure accountability and project tracking. Requirements

TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance or Secret Cleared with eligibility to upgrade High school diploma or equivalent (GED) TVC/Journeyman Card, Journeyman Carpenter Certificate or Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or vocational program. 10 years of experience, two of which are in a lead or supervisory role. Possess practical knowledge of repairs installation of floor and ceiling tile, walls, masonry work, locksmithing, cabinet making, framing, form work and general knowledge of the painting trade. Have experience with operating small power tools and machinery as required. Have experience reading blueprints and perform material take-offs from prints. A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights as well as overtime, weekends and holidays as required. Preferred Additional Skills

Possesses an Active and current TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance Effective Leadership and Communication skills to professionally work with the customer and subordinates. Knowledge of PM programs.
