Job Description Summary We are searching for a CAD Designer Co-op to contribute to our product engineering group. This position is based out of our Advanced Technology and Development center in Detroit, Michigan.
Job Description
Design by using NX CAD system
Model simple or complex parts and assemblies as well as dependent components
Detail drawings and apply GD&T for both assemblies and dependent components with Engineering guidance
Develop new designs and re-designs, using internal or external prints, models, sketches and verbal instructions
Perform max/min tolerance stack-ups with Engineering guidance.
Customer data management
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
Must have completed basic design and CAD coursework.
NX and CATIA knowledge/experience required.
Enrolled in a 2 or 4 year degree program in an accredited college or university fulltime with a graduation date of December 2026 or later.
Available 25 hours each week year round
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Must be able to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship
