Responsibilities Maintain accurate logs on all equipment in the hospital and provide for a safe working environment. Maintain and repair equipment across mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Maintain the building and its related systems. Be certified and/or licensed in a specific trade directly related to healthcare engineering.
Qualifications
Five (5) years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred
Able to troubleshoot, read schematics and/or blueprints
Valid state driver’s license
Certified and/or licensed in a trade related to healthcare engineering (e.g., Steam boiler, HVAC)
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3 to 5 years electrical experience preferred
Knowledge of network cabling
Familiar with the NEC
Knowledge of 3-phase wiring
