The primary responsibility is to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
Project Set-Up:
Prepare for preconstruction meetings (reviewing plans, contracts, selections, etc.), develop construction schedules, lead on-site client meetings, and maintain a clean job site. Operational Excellence:
Maintain safe and secure job sites, manage subcontractors, communicate weekly updates, assist in budget control, order materials, create work orders, and maintain client relations. Self-perform carpentry labor as needed and troubleshoot issues efficiently. Administrative Duties:
Collect payments, complete invoicing paperwork, maintain email communications, issue purchase orders, and use basic computer skills. Required Skills and Talents:
Excellent communication and organizational skills, neat appearance, craftsmanship vision, negotiating and purchasing experience, above-average carpentry skills, and leadership qualities. Urban Building Group is a Charlotte, NC based Design/Build Firm. Additional Information:
