Job Summary As Tilt‑Up Engineer with Leviat, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your talents and passion in a constantly evolving construction industry. We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and driven individual to join the Leviat Engineering team as an Engineer within our tilt‑up design team. Innovative products and services are at the foundation of our company and this position will support the design and support of our market‑leading lifting and bracing products in the constantly evolving and growing concrete tilt‑up construction industry.

This person's main responsibility will be to review architectural/structural drawings and analyze elements of concrete tilt wall panels to determine stresses, as they relate to the lifting/bracing components (to prevent bending/cracking), using a proprietary state of the art design software.

This position reports to the Tilt Engineering Manager and will be based out of our office in Tampa, Florida. This job will not require travel.

Job Location This role is based at our office in Riverview, FL.

Job Responsibilities

Interact and collaborate with customers, managers, engineers, project managers, quality control and other employees to resolve engineering related issues

Adhere to customer (internal and external) volumes, timeline and expectations

Interpret architectural/structural drawings

Calculate lifting and bracing design for the tilt up industry

Prepare bill of materials and take off drawings for submittals

Handle multiple projects at once

Provide excellent customer service and support

Job Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering

Ability to read and interpret drawings

Ability to use a variety of computer programs, including CAD or BIM software and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)

Self‑starter, motivated and able to take initiative, with ability to finish a project on time

Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to work closely with others

Provide excellent customer service and support
