Job Summary: The Landscape Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing landscape construction and maintenance projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. This position requires a hands-on approach to landscaping while providing guidance and direction to the crew. Key Responsibilities: ● Lead & Supervise the Landscaping Crew – Assign tasks, ensure productivity, and maintain a safe work environment. ● Perform Hands-On Landscaping Work – Including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers; installing mulch and rock beds; edging and trimming; and performing seasonal clean-ups. ● Hardscape Installation – Assist with the installation of pavers, retaining walls, garden beds, and other landscape features. ● Tree & Shrub Care – Prune, trim, and maintain plant health according to best practices. ● Operate & Maintain Landscaping Equipment – Use and maintain tools such as skid steers, augers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and excavation tools. ● Plan & Execute Landscape Projects – Read and interpret landscape designs, ensuring accurate implementation. ● Communicate with Clients & Leadership – Provide updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction. ● Manage Daily Schedules & Job Sites – Plan routes, track progress, and resolve on-site challenges. ● Ensure Compliance with Safety Standards – Promote a culture of safety and enforce company policies. ● Display reliable, responsible, and dependable behavior. ● Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: ● High school diploma or general education degree (GED). ● Excellent communication and customer service skills. ● Proven experience in landscaping, hardscaping, or landscape installation ● Knowledge of plant selection, soil conditions, and landscape construction techniques. ● Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team. (leadership experience preferred). ● Experience operating landscaping and hardscaping equipment. ● Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform manual labor. ● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ● Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred). ● Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work. ● A willingness to learn and grow within our company.
