This position requires a hands-on approach to landscaping while providing guidance and direction to the crew. Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Supervise the Landscaping Crew – Assign tasks, ensure productivity, and maintain a safe work environment. Perform Hands-On Landscaping Work – Including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers; installing mulch and rock beds; edging and trimming; and performing seasonal clean-ups. Hardscape Installation – Assist with the installation of pavers, retaining walls, garden beds, and other landscape features. Tree & Shrub Care – Prune, trim, and maintain plant health according to best practices. Operate & Maintain Landscaping Equipment – Use and maintain tools such as skid steers, augers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and excavation tools. Plan & Execute Landscape Projects – Read and interpret landscape designs, ensuring accurate implementation. Communicate with Clients & Leadership – Provide updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction. Manage Daily Schedules & Job Sites – Plan routes, track progress, and resolve on-site challenges. Ensure Compliance with Safety Standards – Promote a culture of safety and enforce company policies. Display reliable, responsible, and dependable behavior. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proven experience in landscaping, hardscaping, or landscape installation Knowledge of plant selection, soil conditions, and landscape construction techniques. Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team. (leadership experience preferred). Experience operating landscaping and hardscaping equipment. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform manual labor. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred). Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work. A willingness to learn and grow within our company. Why Join Us?
