As a Plant Project Engineer, you’ll drive capital projects that directly impact operations, safety, and product quality. You will deliver high-impact projects that improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability across a 1,400-person facility. What you will do
Manage the planning and execution of capital projects according to established requirements. Develop proposals, schedules, cost control, risk mitigation, and commissioning for projects. Work with a multifunctional team to ensure manufacturing equipment is operating correctly. Identify, fund, and implement process improvements and capability changes. A day in your life might include Manage capital projects ranging from $10,000 to $5,000,000. Investigate operational problems and work with multi-functional teams to implement solutions. Develop and align with stakeholders on requirements for assigned projects. Work with maintenance, operations, and quality during daily direction setting (DDS) team meetings to ensure a robust manufacturing process. Develop capital project submissions employing clear and concise project documentation. Coordinate and review contractor and vendor activity and interface with plant personnel, ensuring compliance with plant and corporate standards. Who you will work with

Must Have Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and 1+ years' experience in manufacturing. (Minimum Qualifications) Experience with and understanding of manufacturing processes. Experience managing large capital projects utilizing project management processes. Experience leading a multi-disciplined team through capital project creation and execution. Advanced computer skills in MS Project, MS Office, SAP, and Procurement systems. Working knowledge of AutoCAD. Nice to Have Project management professional (PMP) certification. Food and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience. What you will bring to the team
Good analytical skills: Ability to troubleshoot hardware and processes. Strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Highly motivated, self-directed and able to multi-task. Willingness to work off-shifts and weekends to support projects and processes. Ability to think on one's feet, make decisions on the fly, and react to changing situations. Compensation and Benefits
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$93,800 - $134,800 . Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. We offer competitive health, dental, 401(k) and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
