In the role of Construction Manager II, you'll be responsible for:

Preparing the Project Management Plan and Construction Management Plan.

Assisting project teams with project execution, including developing procedures for contract administration, document management, change, time, cost, quality, and safety management.

Performing construction management activities such as developing procurement schedules, reviewing subcontractor scopes and terms, conducting constructability and value engineering reviews, estimating, and schedule reviews.

Administering and managing construction activities, monitoring design progress related to construction, and coordinating bidding efforts.

Assisting in procurement, reviewing submittals, preparing change orders, and analyzing schedules.

Controlling project budgets and schedules, managing quality assurance and control, and ensuring subcontractor compliance with safety programs.

Preparing reports on progress, safety, quality, schedule, and budget; managing project setup and temporary facilities.

Planning and coordinating construction procurements, supervising field activities, and working on projects related to building engineering, hospitals, data centers, infrastructure, and water/wastewater facilities.

Utilizing spreadsheets, databases, and scheduling software for routine tasks and working independently or supporting larger projects.

Maintaining accurate records, coordinating with design, procurement, and accounting teams, and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

Traveling as needed (50-100%) for meetings, site visits, and inspections, with potential for long-term project assignments.

Performing other duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Passing drug screening and compliance with drug and alcohol testing policies.

Valid motor vehicle license according to state law.

Professional Engineer (PE) license and Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred.

Experience with estimating, scheduling, project management software, and web-based collaboration tools.

Willingness to learn, ask questions, and perform new duties under supervision.

Professionalism in client interactions.

Local candidates are preferred.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

At least 10 years of experience in construction planning and management, including contracts, document, time, cost, quality, safety, bidding, and scheduling.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with stakeholders.
